Luxurious Fiji

Our consultant lucky enough to take a familiarlisation tour to Fiji in November was Amanda Curnow. November was a warm and sunny month in Fiji with temperatures from mid 20s right through to early 30s. The Fijian locals are so happy and friendly - Amanda was able to visit a local village and spend some time with them and their little ones. A visit to a local village really put life into perspective, the villagers had a great sense of community, pride, friendliness and big smiles all round!

Amanda's favourite accommodation property was Blue Lagoon Beach Resort as it had a great range of accommodation to suit all types of travellers. Whether you are a budget conscious traveller or families and couples, you have options - from the dorm and lodge rooms right up to villas. The resort is located on a beautiful beach and has all the amenities you need; bar, pool, restaurant and water sports. The staff are so lovely and happy and the resort has a great vibe.

What Amanda most enjoyed was the fact that the Yasawas had so much to offer a traveller; snorkelling, diving, swimming in local caves, hiking and fishing were all popular activities. And not to mention the food! With a mix of traditional and western flavours, it was hard to pick what to order. There really is something for everyone in Fiji and if you aren't as adventurous there's miles of pristine beach front to relax on and soak up the sun.

Jumping off a boat in the middle of the ocean and snokelling with reef sharks was definitely one of Amanda's highlights during her time in Fiji.
