In my many years as a travel consultant at Calder & Lawson House of Travel I have discovered several different places around the world and they all offer something unique and wonderful. Three of my top favourite adventures so far include a splendid cruise in the Mediterranean, a remarkable trip through South Africa to see the wildlife, and a holiday in the elegant and sophisticated city of Paris.

There is nothing like the thrill and excitement of reaching your chosen destination and creating your own adventures. Travel is truly amazing and I enjoy sharing my personal experiences and making first-hand recommendations to ensure you get the most out of your holiday.

Travel Tips

Take comfortable walking shoes so that you can get out and about to see all the sights.

Arrive early in the morning to do sightseeing to avoid long queues later in the day.

Unforgettable Memories

Vietnam was a highlight with the opportunity to stay in Ho Chi Minh City and experience the local markets and food.  Flying to Con Dao a new resort and also stayin at Evason Ana Mandara Nha Trang Beach.  The Six senses Ninh Van Bay which is a secluded resort a short boat ride from Nha Trang  was definitely my favourite, this resort would be ideal for honeymooners and couples wanting a relaxing break.

I have recently returned from New York and would like to have had longer in this city.  Empire State Building, Central Park and Times Square are just a few of the places to be visited.  I added a wonderful 7 night cruise in the Caribbean on the Celebrity Solstice from Fort Lauderdale to this trip.  This ship is  5 star and definately to be recommended. 

Langkawi Island in Malaysia staying at The Datai was another highlight for me this year.  This resort is set in a rainforest with its own private beach, two beautiful swimming pools and great options for dining make this a fabulous place to stay.
