Travel Specialist
My golden rule when I work with clients is to presume from the outset that they are planning their dream holiday. I want it to be as special as possible for them regardless of how far they are travelling, for how long and to where. There is so much enjoyment to be had planning a holiday and I just love it..
It’s hard for me to believe I have been in the travel industry for over two decades. I’m proud to say that I have been lucky enough to be recognised as one of House of Travel’s top consultants for a number of years. I’m often asked, “Where’s your dream destination?” Of course it is different for everyone but I think Africa is very special. Then again there’s South America! Or course you can’t beat relaxing on one of the islands in the South Pacific either. There’s always somewhere exquisite to visit in the world so why not give me a call as I do love travel.

Travel Tips
I always like to do a hop on hop off bus tour when I arrive in a city, it is a good way to see the sights and get your bearings, even on a return trip it is a good way of getting around.
Have some small denominations of the currency for the country you are visiting on hand. This is handy for tipping the taxi or porter on arrival.
When in a country where English is not generally spoken always take a card from the Hotel with the name in the local language, this way the taxi driver will know exactly where to take you, or if you get lost it wil help someone to direct you.
Unforgetable Memories
Some of my most unforgetable memories are a trip to South America which included travelling by train through the beautiful sacred valley to Aguas Calientes and then up to the ancient Inca site of Machu Picchu, I had a childhood fascintation with Peru and it was beyond all expectations.
Africa is a place that stays with you forever and draws you back – I have wonderful memories of Zimbabwe and Botswana – flying into remote private game parks, staying in beautiful tented luxury accommodation in the wilderness, having sundowners while watching the animals gather at the watering holes as the sun is setting and of course seeing the Big 5.
A trip to Egypt and the first sight of the breathtraking Pyramids and cruising on the famous Nile was like taking a trip back in time.
On a trip to Vietnam learning the history of this resilient soutry country and visiting the sobering Cu Chi tunnels where the Vietcong had their base in the resistance to the American forces. The warmth of the Vietnamese people is over whelming.
